The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sergio Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio Ruisko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Isaac Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Generoso Chago scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsenio Resto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arsenio Resto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Herensuge in the 76th minute of the match. Isaac Alvarez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Braulio Ruisko came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaac Alvarez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 80th minute. Isaac Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Braulio Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Isaac Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Herensuge in the 98th minute of play forced Napoli FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Napoli FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guadalupe Juniors.
