The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eloy Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Ignazio in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Otsando saved Marlboro F.C. from getting behind. After 27 played minutes Marlboro F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Ranolfo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Blai in the 29th minute of play forced Anguincila AFC's goalkeeper Santos Lucado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Blai in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Lucado saved Anguincila AFC from getting behind. After 32 played minutes Anguincila AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Phelipe. The supporters of Anguincila AFC booed when Marlboro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Cordaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Lucado having to interfere. Marcos Marino kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eloy Ignazio made a kick off. Marcelo Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Santos Lucado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Anguincila AFC's goalkeeper Santos Lucado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Blai. 64 minutes into the match, Eloy Ignazio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Otsando. Marlboro F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Ignazio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Blai got free with Santos Lucado in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Timoteo Blai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Guerau was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Marlboro F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marcelo Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Aquilino Otsando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Marlboro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Ignazio came free, but Aquilino Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Marlboro F.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Anguincila AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
