Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Efrain Jaunzuria took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Challacó's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Elivareo came free, but Leon Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Challacó's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Berbiz came free, but Leon Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Ekhi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 23 played minutes Simbolar got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Inocente. Efrain Jaunzuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Challacó's Leon Rocio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Challacó getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Isaac Nazario hit a great ball. Simbolar's Leonel Elivareo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38thth minute of the game Leonel Elivareo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Challacó's Leon Ekhi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Simbolar's zone, Efrain Jaunzuria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Colas came out of the goal and Efrain Jaunzuria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th match minute, Simbolar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Delfino to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes in the game, Efrain Jaunzuria fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maximino Colas having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Elivareo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Erubiel Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Efrain Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Jaunzuria in the 61st minute of play forced Simbolar's goalkeeper Maximino Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Efrain Jaunzuria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Guaberto Inocente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simbolar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Leon Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Elivareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Challacó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Salbatore to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Challacó's zone, Leonel Elivareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Ekhi came out of the goal and Leonel Elivareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximino Colas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Jaunzuria in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Simbolar's Abel Delfino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Leon Rocio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Leon Ekhi made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Nemesio Berbiz sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Leonel Elivareo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Ekhi was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Ovando in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Colas saved Simbolar from getting behind. The Simbolar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
