After a defensive mix-up in CSyD Estrella de Boedo's zone, Saturnino Harri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Manny came out of the goal and Saturnino Harri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to CSyD Estrella de Boedo getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Efrain Berbiz hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Saturnino Harri made a precise shot to the right of Prudencio Manny. CSyD Estrella de Boedo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Club Atlético Belgrano booed when CSyD Estrella de Boedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Santana came free, but Aaron Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Sugar in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Manny saved CSyD Estrella de Boedo from getting behind. Aaron Olentzaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Bazkoare in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, CSyD Estrella de Boedo's Maximo Txanton got a free kick in the 30th minute. CSyD Estrella de Boedo's Prudencio Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Barto in the 31st minute of play. Prudencio Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Harri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Belgrano's Claudio Toli got a free kick in the 38th minute. Bonifacio Bazkoares short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Aaron Olentzaro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Igor Sugar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Prudencio Manny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Claudio Toli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute Augusto Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Olentzaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Augusto Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Olentzaro having to interfere. Aaron Olentzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Santana in the 79th minute of the match. Augusto Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Aaron Olentzaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Club Atlético Belgrano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Atlético Belgrano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
