Nicanor Boni came out of the goal and Eriberto Herauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Herminio Rainerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nicanor Boni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Ponciano in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Boni saved NIGHTMARE F.C. from getting behind. Cesar Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nicanor Boni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Eriberto Herauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. NIGHTMARE F.C.'s Nicanor Boni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Herauso in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urbano Madaleno was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Catan City booed when NIGHTMARE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Ponciano in the 53rd minute of play forced NIGHTMARE F.C.'s goalkeeper Nicanor Boni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, NIGHTMARE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Ponciano came free, but Nicanor Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes, NIGHTMARE F.C.'s Marciano Ixona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosme Valiente came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NIGHTMARE F.C. reached it. Catan City's Cesar Ponciano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nicanor Boni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Ponciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the match, Julio Orkatz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicanor Boni, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in NIGHTMARE F.C.'s zone, Cesar Ponciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Boni came out of the goal and Cesar Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Catan City's Nicanor Boni threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eriberto Herauso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Urbano Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Valiente having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cesar Ponciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicanor Boni was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Cesar Ponciano might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicanor Boni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Ponciano ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Catan City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NIGHTMARE F.C..
