Aquiles Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Cesario having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Perrugorría's Joel Incendio got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ramon Bernal kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Amato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 98 minutes, Rodrigo Dino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sorrento FC and the Perrugorría players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sorrento FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 98th minute. Penalty! In the 100th minute there was a penalty for Perrugorría. Leo Ramond stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Damian Cesario. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Perrugorría walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
