Damian Cesario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Isidoro Montrelle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Braulio Pudes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trompul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Pudes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Cesario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Enzo Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trompul FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Enzo Avellaneda scored to the left of an out of position Ariel Tello, making the score, 1-0. Benigno Iraido kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Enzo Avellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Haritzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Cesario having to interfere. Edgard Abancens hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Isidoro Montrelle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Cesario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Avellaneda made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Sorrento FC's Nunez Tanio got a free kick in the 54th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Froilan Dolfos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trompul FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorrento FC the free kick. Enzo Avellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ariel Tello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Procopio's late challenge caught a Trompul FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
