A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Bermund got free with Lucio Eron in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucio Eron made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Gerardo Laurgain sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Gabriel Hori made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Hori in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Científico Fraga's goalkeeper Arsenio Caetano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Club Científico Fraga booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Científico Fraga's Uriel Fidele got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes of play, Club Científico Fraga's Uriel Fidele made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
