Psicodelia's Gregorio Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Lluis in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Jose Matai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 22 minutes, Emil Bruhn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medanitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Bruhn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rodrigo Lluis came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Medanitos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Lluis couldn't finish the play. Gogo Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes in the game Augusto Argi did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emil Bruhn. In the 34th minute, Bernardo Quinten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th match minute, Medanitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Lluis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Matai in the 42nd minute of play forced Medanitos FC's goalkeeper Fabricio Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Chale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose Matai went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franco Arrugueta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabricio Chale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of Psicodelia booed when Medanitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Psicodelia's Domingos Cai slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabricio Chale. That made the score 0-3 after 63 minutes of play. In the 67th minute Jose Matai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Enmanuel hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Rodrigo Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medanitos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Lluis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Cayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emil Bruhn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute.
