The supporters of Paloma booed when Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prudencio Fidencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipolito Laurentzi in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Francis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Christian Koldobika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Paloma's zone, Ricardo Asteri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Fidencio came out of the goal and Ricardo Asteri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paloma players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Saladillo FC.
