Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 3rd minute Apolo Gartxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Javiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Alfredo Cordero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Floresta Vengo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buenos Aires United the free kick. A collision led to De Floresta Vengo FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Alfredo Cordero hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes, Buenos Aires United's Juan Roano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Desiderio Javiar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buenos Aires United reached it. Hipolito Theobald's late challenge caught a De Floresta Vengo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Theobald helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Hipolito Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 minutes, Rigoberto Cordeara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buenos Aires United and the De Floresta Vengo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. De Floresta Vengo FC's Felix Lucado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Buenos Aires United. After having played for 18 minutes, Felix Bikendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenos Aires United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Bikendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When De Floresta Vengo FC's Fausto Erasto in 21 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Samuel Bermudo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 21st match minute, Buenos Aires United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Ciano to maneuver through the defense. When De Floresta Vengo FC's Diego Eder in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buenos Aires United's goalie prevented a goal. Felix Bikendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Desiderio Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Diego Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samuel Bermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Erasto in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Hipolito Che hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Bikendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Javiar having to interfere. If Felix Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Desiderio Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Bikendi in the 42nd minute of play. Diego Eder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Bermudo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Desiderio Javiar was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Apolo Gartxot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Apolo Gartxot really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 61st match minute, Buenos Aires United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Roano to maneuver through the defense. Felix Lucado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuel Bermudo. Buenos Aires United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in De Floresta Vengo FC's zone, Apolo Gartxot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Javiar came out of the goal and Apolo Gartxot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Buenos Aires United's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Erasto came free, but Samuel Bermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Gogo Ciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buenos Aires United's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Ciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Javiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 played minutes De Floresta Vengo FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Txomin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apolo Gartxot in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Javiar saved De Floresta Vengo FC from getting behind. Desiderio Javiar made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Felix Bikendi sent off a good shot on target. If Fausto Erasto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Felix Bikendi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buenos Aires United's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Bikendi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Javiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Buenos Aires United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
