Enzo Mon in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hector Taurino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ricardo Ekain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Stanislao, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Stanislao in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Ekain saved Rosario FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Godfredo Sanson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Hector Taurino to make any attempt to save it. Igor Cresenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Ekain having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Rosario FC's Gaston Naike sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Taurino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 minutes of play, Rosario FC's Godfredo Sanson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Taurino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enzo Mon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Enzo Mon came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Rosario FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Mon couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Sao Caetano's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Sanson came free, but Hector Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leopoldo Foro came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Rosario FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Foro couldn't finish the play. Godfredo Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Taurino hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Rosario FC's Godfredo Sanson got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enzo Mon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hector Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th play minute Enzo Mon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hector Taurino. 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixto Terciero was the one to do the kick off. Sao Caetano's Amadeo Cordarrol pulled a muscle in his leg after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Rosario FC's Godfredo Sanson got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Godfredo Sanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Taurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Rosario FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Piarres to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Godfredo Sanson put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hector Taurino. 77 minutes into the game, Rosario FC's Godfredo Sanson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hector Taurino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Godfredo Sanson scored 9-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Taurino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfredo Sanson in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Taurino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 played minutes Sao Caetano got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Stanislao. When Godfredo Sanson came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Rosario FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Sanson couldn't finish the play. Sao Caetano's Hector Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Sanson in the 90th minute of play. Gaston Naike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Hector Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Naike during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Rosario FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
