Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Juan Gotzon kicked off to start the match. After 8 minutes, Rigoberto Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herrera and the Huyamampa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Huyamampa booed when Herrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Huyamampa's zone, Antonio Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Galsino came out of the goal and Antonio Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Huyamampa's Aurelio Galsino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Huyamampa from getting a goal against them. Antonio Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Ralondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Juan Gotzon came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Huyamampa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Gotzon couldn't finish the play. In the 25th match minute, Herrera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Columbo to maneuver through the defense. Juan Gotzon struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Victor Abajas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huyamampa. Huyamampa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Antonio Ekain scored to the left of an out of position Aurelio Galsino, making the score, 2-0. If Carolo Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Servando scored 3-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Galsino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute Juan Gotzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Herrera's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damaso Dubardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Huyamampa's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Herrera's Victor Abajas got control of the ball when Carolo Ralondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucio Servando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Galsino having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Huyamampa got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Barto. In the 75th minute, Antonio Ekain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucio Servando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Galsino having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Damaso Dubardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Servando in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Galsino saved Huyamampa from getting behind. A collision led to Huyamampa getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Manuel Barto hit a great ball. Lucio Servando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Galsino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Ekain in the 94th minute of play. Herrera's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
