Amado Azubeli came out of the goal and Cirilo Rocio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Benjamin Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Enekoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Flavio Afonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Enekoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Lucas Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Afonso having to interfere. In the 24th minute Cirilo Rocio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Elequemedo got free with Flavio Afonso in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cirilo Rocio might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amado Azubeli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Rocio ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Llanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The EscorpioneS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Torres AFC were winning 0-1.

53 minutes into the match, EscorpioneS's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Rocio came free, but Amado Azubeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Suarez charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Placido Suarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Placido Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 82 in the game by Benjamin Dodorol from a close distance when the talented Amado Azubeli managed to make a qualified save. EscorpioneS's players were relieved. Torres AFC's Flavio Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Elequemedo in the 87th minute of play. Herminio Enekoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Afonso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Rocio in the 95th minute of play forced EscorpioneS's goalkeeper Amado Azubeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Torres AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
