The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luisiana's goalkeeper Pastor Serafo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Reconquista F.C booed when Luisiana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Roland didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Vicente Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Serafo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reconquista F.C's Humberto Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Guilabertus in the 14th minute of play. Aristides Odilon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Santiago Frances recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes, Jacinto Ourente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luisiana and the Reconquista F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A long shot from Dante Phelipe in the 27th minute of play was well struck, but Pastor Serafo made a really good save at the right post. A collision led to Reconquista F.C getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Felipe Iraunkor hit a great ball. Vicente Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Atilano Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ramon Leguizamón struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Humberto Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luisiana. Horacio Joanes's late challenge caught a Luisiana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Joanes helped the player get up and apologised. Aristides Odilon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Humberto Gaskon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 56 minutes into the match, Reconquista F.C's Atilano Bela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Serafo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Atilano Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Guilabertus in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Gaskon saved Reconquista F.C from getting behind. Florencio Eskuin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Feliciano Guilabertus rounded Reconquista F.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Feliciano Guilabertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reconquista F.C's Humberto Gaskon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Reconquista F.C from getting a goal against them. Aristides Odilon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Humberto Gaskon made a huge save. If Feliciano Guilabertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Reconquista F.C's Jimeno Gonsalvo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Feliciano Guilabertus struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Humberto Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luisiana. Luisiana played a much better game than Reconquista F.C and deserved their victory. The Reconquista F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
