Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rene Crispo started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Madryn FC's Severiano Milian got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Rene Crispo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Madryn FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Crispo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Asthenia getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Americo Perutxo hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Silvestre Breogan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Madryn FC! The referee gave Asthenia a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bartolo Jerold, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Madryn FC's Carolo Regis. 1-0. In the 23rd minute Isidro Gelmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes, Simon Confesor made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Madryn FC's Carolo Regis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Gelmiro got free with Carolo Regis in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carolo Regis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Confesor in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Madryn FC's zone, Isidro Gelmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Regis came out of the goal and Isidro Gelmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Madryn FC's Carolo Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Gelmiro in the 33rd minute of play. Carolo Regis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidro Gelmiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. Isaias Peru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Crispo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Bartolo Jerold hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidro Gelmiro made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Isidro Gelmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Lizer kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidro Gelmiro in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carolo Regis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Confesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Isidro Gelmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Evelio Asier fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Madryn FC's protests and gave Evelio Asier a yellow card for diving instead. Evelio Asier hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Agustin Mino came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Madryn FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Mino couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Asthenia's goalkeeper Isaias Peru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Mino. If Isidro Gelmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Crispo in the 93rd minute of play forced Asthenia's goalkeeper Isaias Peru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaias Peru made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Agustin Mino sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Asthenia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Madryn FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
