Gonzalo Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Milio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Eusko's late challenge caught a La Academia 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benigno Eusko helped the player get up and apologised. If Severino Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute of the match Iker Rayman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alonzo Abeijon skillfully saved the ball. In the 21st match minute, Butacó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Carlomagno to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Milio in the 30th minute of play. Butacó FC's attack was well implemented in the 32nd minute, but when Severino Milio was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Severino Milio in the 34th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gonzalo Abaunza kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Milio in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzalo Abaunza saved La Academia from getting behind.

Cesar Carlomagno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Abaunza having to interfere. In the 57th minute Romulo Haritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Mateo Sindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Abaunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Milio in the 65th minute of the match. Alonzo Abeijon made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Mateo Sindo sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by David Rosio in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Butacó FC's Hugo Horado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Horado in the 69th minute of play forced La Academia 's goalkeeper Gonzalo Abaunza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Butacó FC's Severino Milio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonzalo Abaunza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Butacó FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hugo Horado hit a great ball. Gonzalo Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Carlomagno, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes La Academia got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Savier. The supporters of La Academia booed when Butacó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Horado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Iker Rayman in the 93rd minute really tested Alonzo Abeijon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Butacó FC had played much better football throughout.
