With an all-out effort, Rancul's Benicio Justin threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hermengildo Laurgain, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hipolito Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hipolito Alfonso came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Rancul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Alfonso couldn't finish the play. In the 16thth minute of the game Hermengildo Laurgain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Docta's Benicio Justin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hermengildo Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Rancul's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Txeru came free, but Gabriel Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Berriotxoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Hipolito Alfonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Justin. La Docta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Alfonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Laurgain to strike the kick off in the second half. Benicio Justin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Laurgain in the 53rd minute of play. Hipolito Alfonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benicio Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Raymundo got in the 64th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Benicio Justin handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, La Docta's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Alfonso came free, but Benicio Justin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rancul's Hipolito Alfonso got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benigno Txeru got free with Gabriel Berriotxoa in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in La Docta's zone, Hermengildo Laurgain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Justin came out of the goal and Hermengildo Laurgain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the game, Rancul's Hermengildo Laurgain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Justin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Hipolito Alfonso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benicio Justin having to make a save.
