Adrian Haimar kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Nicolas Maxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, Arroyito AFC's Marcelino Firme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaroslaw Kaider made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gogo Garaona hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Jaroslaw Kaider stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Firme's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Senio in the 41st minute of play forced Grasshopper FC's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Kaider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Garaona charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gogo Garaona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Firme made a kick off. Gogo Garaona hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Senio couldn't finish the play. After having played for 54 minutes, Marcelino Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arroyito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Firme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaroslaw Kaider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelino Firme in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Grasshopper FC's zone, Victorino Senio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslaw Kaider came out of the goal and Victorino Senio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaroslaw Kaider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Maxin in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Grasshopper FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Maxin came free, but Jaroslaw Kaider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Grasshopper FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Federico Precioso hit a great ball. Nicasio Poz's late challenge caught a Grasshopper FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicasio Poz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Nicasio Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcelino Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelino Firme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jaroslaw Kaider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Adrian Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grasshopper FC's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Kaider, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelino Firme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jaroslaw Kaider made a huge save. When the match was over Arroyito AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grasshopper FC throughout the match.
