Marcelino Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Sadurni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Florentino Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Resacados FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Siro Abecia hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Americo Playo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Resacados FC's goalkeeper Americo Playo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Eustacio Sadurni made the kick off in the second half. When Segundo Maju came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Cha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Maju couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Resacados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Maju came free, but Americo Playo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Resacados FC's Americo Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Bertran in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Resacados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Madaleno to maneuver through the defense. Americo Playo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Bertran's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Segundo Maju put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Americo Playo. After 71 played minutes Cha got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Sanchez. Victorio Kinsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 minutes, Leon Cresencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resacados FC and the Cha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustacio Sadurni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelino Llorienzo came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustacio Sadurni slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 97th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
