Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fidel Nayely took the kick off in the first half of the match. Castaño FC's Saul Lia got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saul Lia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Fe having to interfere. A collision led to Castaño FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Fidel Nayely hit a great ball. Saul Lia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ildefonso Fe made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Saul Lia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ildefonso Fe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Nayely in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Fe saved Ilvermorny FC from getting behind. Saul Lia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ildefonso Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilvermorny FC's Ildefonso Fe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ilvermorny FC from getting a goal against them. Prudencio Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Isidoro Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ilvermorny FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Fe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 36 minutes, Saul Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castaño FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Lia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saul Lia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Fe having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Prudencio Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Dunixi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Abeita scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Dunixi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Silvanito to make the kick off. Adrian Nuñez's late challenge caught a Ilvermorny FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Nuñez helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Castaño FC got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Nuñez. When Saul Lia came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Castaño FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Lia couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Castaño FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Emiliano Veremundo hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Nicasio Martinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Castaño FC's Saul Lia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Fe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ildefonso Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Castaño FC's Fidel Nayely in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ilvermorny FC's goalie prevented a goal. Isidoro Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Solustiano in the 73rd minute of play. Rolando Silvanito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Dunixi having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Martinez during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Castaño FC's Nicasio Martinez got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Fidel Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castaño FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Nayely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Fe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, Ilvermorny FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Lia came free, but Ildefonso Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Fidel Nayely ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ildefonso Fe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ilvermorny FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Castaño FC.
