Jaime Bernaldo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elpidio Pacho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. If Nestor Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Atlético Chimichurri getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Domingos Lizer hit a great ball. Gabriel Ostargi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Lain having to make a save. Jonas Pero might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Lain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Pero ran back to his position shaking his head. Elpidio Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Bernaldo having to interfere. Jaime Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Pacho in the 22nd minute of play. When Redondo's Elpidio Pacho in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Chimichurri's goalie prevented a goal. Mario Firmin charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Firmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mario Firmin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Chimichurri's zone, Elpidio Pacho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Bernaldo came out of the goal and Elpidio Pacho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Redondo's Emanuel Gabirel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jaime Bernaldo but with some difficulty. In the 33rd minute, Mario Firmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Maurino, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nestor Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Jonas Pero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Chimichurri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 48 minutes into the game, Gabriel Ostargi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Paolo Lain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Ostargi was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the game, Elpidio Pacho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jaime Bernaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute Elpidio Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jonas Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Lain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Ostargi in the 78th minute of the match. Nestor Calvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jaime Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Bernaldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Pacho went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 99 minutes into the game, Gabriel Ostargi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paolo Lain. Gabriel Ostargi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
