Club Atlético Chimichurri's Jaime Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Giro in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Ostargi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jonas Pero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Efren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Aquilino Nardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Bernaldo. Club Atlético Chimichurri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquilino Nardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Andres Giro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jaime Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Andres Giro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Bernaldo was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, Carolo Llorenc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Bernaldo. Club Atlético Chimichurri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carolo Llorenc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Andres Giro didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-9 via right post in the game's 88th minute. Patricios's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Romulo Gaueko struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jaime Bernaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patricios. In the 96th minute, Andres Giro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Patricios could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atlético Chimichurri throughout the match.
