Spectators: 6999 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Honorato Palos made the kick off which started today's match. Martillo fc's Uriel Basualdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Pero in the 4th minute of play. Honorato Palos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Bernaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Martillo fc's Honorato Palos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Uriel Basualdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 23 played minutes Martillo fc got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Macario. Club Atlético Chimichurri's Claudio Chale couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Martillo fc. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Ostargi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Basualdo saved Martillo fc from getting behind. Martillo fc's Francisco Manni got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Gabriel Ostargi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Jonas Pero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Chimichurri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 46th match minute, Martillo fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Paz to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Ostargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Basualdo having to interfere. After the first half Club Atlético Chimichurri were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Ostargi to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Chimichurri defense, Eustacio Castulo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Bernaldo. The Club Atlético Chimichurri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Bernaldo should have stopped the shot. Club Atlético Chimichurri's Jaime Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Palos in the 62nd minute of play. If Jonas Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Chimichurri's Domingos Lizer got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Hibai in the 80th minute of play. Honorato Palos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jaime Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Honorato Palos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Martillo fc's Uriel Basualdo got control of the ball when Jonas Pero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Francisco Manni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Hibai in the 93rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Honorato Palos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Bernaldo was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Club Atlético Chimichurri's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
