Leandro Daunte started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Fermin Cordarryl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EQUUS F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Cordarryl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaspar Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mauricio Lore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Joel Atarrabi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. EQUUS F.C.'s Esteve Pasqual proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save EQUUS F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Gaspar Ofelio made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Lore. Buenos Aires Sur's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Buenos Aires Sur getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ariel Rioja hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Daunte in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Pasqual saved EQUUS F.C. from getting behind. Esteve Pasqual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Daunte in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to EQUUS F.C. getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gaspar Ofelio hit a great ball. Esteve Pasqual made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Joel Atarrabi sent off a good shot on target. Gaspar Ofelio charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Ofelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, EQUUS F.C.'s Gaspar Ofelio got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Gaspar Ofelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes in the game, Leandro Daunte fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Esteve Pasqual having to interfere. Joel Atarrabi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Pasqual read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaspar Ofelio made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, EQUUS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Atarrabi came free, but Esteve Pasqual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mauricio Lore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, EQUUS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Matxin to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Daunte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gaspar Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Matxin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Lore having to interfere. If Joel Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Buenos Aires Sur's zone, Gaspar Ofelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Lore came out of the goal and Gaspar Ofelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Buenos Aires Sur were victorious despite being under pressure from EQUUS F.C. for much of the match.
