Perubians FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metán the free kick. Robustiano Iraitz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Alejandro Rodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Domingo Froila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nemesio Chus might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Tristan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nemesio Chus ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Metán booed when Perubians FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Mauricio Liberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perubians FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metán the free kick. After 31 played minutes, Metán's Alejo Ebardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Blas Tristan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Metán reached it. Alejandro Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Artemio Feliz made the kick off in the second half. Romulo Lico charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After recieving a nice pass, Metán's Alejo Ebardo tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Blas Tristan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Chus in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Metán's Nemesio Chus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blas Tristan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Perubians FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Robustiano Iraitz hit a great ball. If Nemesio Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Metán's Nemesio Chus in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Perubians FC's goalie prevented a goal. 74 minutes into the game, Alejandro Rodas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Domingo Froila. Alejandro Rodas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Domingo Froila made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Alejandro Rodas sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Perubians FC's Alejandro Rodas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingo Froila. That made the score 1-2 after 84 minutes of play. Blas Tristan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Chus in the 92nd minute of play. When Silvano Cucao came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Metán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Cucao couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Feliz in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Froila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Perubians FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
