An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Bento in the 4th minute of play forced Viamonte FC's goalkeeper Saturnino Dalmai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Roano charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Roano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raimundo Roano kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Reynaldo Miliano came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Viamonte FC's Hilario Atauri. But to his dismay, Hilario Atauri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Gas Negro FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Miliano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hilario Atauri. Saturnino Dalmai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Deunoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Generoso Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Dalmai having to interfere. The supporters of Viamonte FC booed when Gas Negro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gas Negro FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Pascual Fix scored to the left of an out of position Reynaldo Miliano, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Gartzea in the 37th minute of play forced Viamonte FC's goalkeeper Saturnino Dalmai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Dalmai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Bento in the 38th minute of play. Saturnino Dalmai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Natalio Farias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Deunoro was the one to do the kick off. The corner ended in Natalio Farias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Viamonte FC's Saturnino Dalmai did a great save. In the 57th minute of the match, Paulino Bento got a very nice opportunity to score, but Saturnino Dalmai was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 61 minutes into the game, Gas Negro FC's Paulino Bento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saturnino Dalmai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Deunoro in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Dalmai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonatan Leocadio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Silverio Niva hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Viamonte FC's Saturnino Dalmai got control of the ball when Generoso Gartzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Generoso Gartzea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saturnino Dalmai. Viamonte FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Gartzea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 80th minute, Generoso Gartzea made a precise shot to the right of Saturnino Dalmai. Viamonte FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 84 minutes into the match, Viamonte FC's goalkeeper Saturnino Dalmai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Farias. Gas Negro FC's Reynaldo Miliano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Atauri in the 91st minute of play. If Pascual Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Gas Negro FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Viamonte FC.
