Merayo's Basilio Jerano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Elequemedo in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Argerich AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gaudencio Roano hit a great ball. When Cristian Oskitz came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Argerich AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Oskitz couldn't finish the play. Merayo were furious when Niceto Teodor was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 28th minute, one of Merayo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Merayo. Ruperto Iyan kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Abel Rafel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Oskitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Basilio Jerano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Elequemedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Jerano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Ruperto Iyan kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Romulo Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Jerano having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Inocencio Eneas made the kick off in the second half. Basilio Jerano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Elequemedo in the 55th minute of play. Argerich AFC's Feliberto Macario got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romulo Elequemedo in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Jerano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd match minute, Merayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Rafel to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Inocencio Eneas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merayo's Basilio Jerano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Elequemedo in the 65th minute of play. Romulo Elequemedo scored 2-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basilio Jerano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Oskitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Rafel charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Rafel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Merayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Rafel to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Feliberto Macario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Merayo got a freekick which was hit by Abel Rafel. In the 89th minute, Feliberto Macario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basilio Jerano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Oskitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Romulo Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Merayo's Abel Rafel got a free kick in the 96th minute.
