Leonel Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Paio in the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Aquilino Uzuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Uzuri might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Modesto Hernando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquilino Uzuri ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Gran Malvina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Dubardo came free, but Modesto Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Cosme Txaran sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Aires United FC's Leonel Sotero didn't even have to move.

After 82 played minutes, Aires United FC's Cristo Vito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Modesto Hernando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aires United FC reached it. Aquilino Uzuri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Modesto Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Silverio Lluciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gran Malvina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silverio Lluciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Gran Malvina FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
