An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Gagriel in the 8th minute of play forced Trejos FC's goalkeeper Santos Mirande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Trejos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Tolino came free, but Santos Mirande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lisandro Toli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trejos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Toli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Jokin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Mauro Mazuste's late challenge caught a Club Atlético 3F's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantino Gagriel to make the kick off. Lisandro Toli might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Jokin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 95th match minute, Trejos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Toli to maneuver through the defense. If Emanuel Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético 3F were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Trejos FC's much stronger midfield.
