If Agustin Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Los Galácticos's zone, Agustin Urbasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Clodio came out of the goal and Agustin Urbasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Agustin Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Clodio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Urbasa in the 17th minute. SUMO's Boruc Badanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Abancens in the 21st minute of play. Ciriaco Sanson charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Sanson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Ciriaco Sanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Clodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Seber in the 36th minute of the match. Gualterio Valentine charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Valentine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Los Galácticos getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gualterio Valentine hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Los Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Seber came free, but Evaristo Clodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st of the match, Justo Seber tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Evaristo Clodio got in the way and made a wonderful save. Boruc Badanowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Abancens's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carolo Sidoro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Marcelo Seber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Clodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Urbasa in the 67th minute of the match. Justo Seber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evaristo Clodio having to make a save. In the 69th minute, Justo Seber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Clodio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 78 minutes into the match, Justo Seber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Clodio. Los Galácticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justo Seber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Boruc Badanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Abancens, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, Los Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Urbasa came free, but Evaristo Clodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Los Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Salvidor. If Agustin Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SUMO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
