Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saul Hechter started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Erubiel Jobo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roulet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Instituto the free kick. Justo Teyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Benino in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Gogo Benino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Teyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gogo Benino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Teyo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayetano Isusko went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gogo Benino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Erubiel Jobo made a precise shot to the right of Justo Teyo. Instituto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Cayetano Isusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Arlo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Wilfredo Matai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Erubiel Jobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Teyo having to interfere. Cayetano Isusko had several of the Instituto's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Justo Teyo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gogo Benino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Isusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Justo Teyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Roulet booed when Instituto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Matthew didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Instituto's zone, Gogo Benino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Teyo came out of the goal and Gogo Benino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erubiel Jobo got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Erubiel Jobo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Wilfredo Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
