Frías's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario Central the free kick. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Frías's goalkeeper Freddy Barea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. German Elazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Cesario in the 71st minute of play forced Frías's goalkeeper Freddy Barea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Casimiro Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Nalo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Freddy Barea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Cesario in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Silvio Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Silvio Cesario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Barea was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, German Elazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Barea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 94thth minute of the game German Elazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frías's Freddy Barea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvio Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 97th minute of the match Rosendo Ramos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Barea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Casimiro Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Vigil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play.
