Artemio Taurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Evis in the 13th minute of play. Saturnino Evis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Evis in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Taurino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Martin Txerran fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VIZCACHA FULBO's protests and gave Martin Txerran a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Maestros booed when VIZCACHA FULBO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Gaur was a little too slow when Angel Erasto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Evis in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Taurino saved VIZCACHA FULBO from getting behind. Maestros's Osvaldo Eztebe quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Celso Jaunzuria, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Osvaldo Eztebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Burni in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgardo Gaur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edgardo Gaur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Erasto in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, VIZCACHA FULBO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Acosta to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teofilo Burni during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teofilo Burni hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Erasto to make the kick off. VIZCACHA FULBO's Artemio Taurino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save VIZCACHA FULBO from getting a goal against them. Maestros's Osvaldo Eztebe got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in VIZCACHA FULBO's zone, Benni Kjellesbjerg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Taurino came out of the goal and Benni Kjellesbjerg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Artemio Taurino managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Maestros's Saturnino Evis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teodosio Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute, Benni Kjellesbjerg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Saturnino Evis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Taurino having to interfere. Artemio Taurino made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Saturnino Evis sent off a good shot on target. When Maestros's Saturnino Evis in 81 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Artemio Taurino guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 82nd match minute, VIZCACHA FULBO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Haitz to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Taurino made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Saturnino Evis sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Maestros were awarded a corner. Osvaldo Eztebe went to the cornerflag to take it. If Saturnino Evis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of VIZCACHA FULBO booed when Maestros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the VIZCACHA FULBO defense, Benni Kjellesbjerg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Taurino. The VIZCACHA FULBO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Taurino should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Maestros could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VIZCACHA FULBO throughout the match.
