Dionisio Hermelando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Albano Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anacleto Benvide fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores del Acha's protests and gave Anacleto Benvide a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Defensores del Acha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Benvide to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes of play, Defensores del Acha's Cipriano Urdaspal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albano Iigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albano Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Pepillo in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Janta FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ernesto Urdin hit a great ball. Nestor Silvanito kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Urdaspal to make the kick off. Defensores del Acha's Cipriano Urdaspal got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albano Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Urdaspal in the 56th minute of play. Lisandro Pepillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albano Iigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisandro Pepillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cipriano Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Albano Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Baumer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Urtun in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th play minute Lisandro Pepillo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Albano Iigo. 0-2. Ernesto Urdin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Janta FC's goalkeeper Albano Iigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Pepillo. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Janta FC's goalkeeper Albano Iigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 75 minutes, Cipriano Urdaspal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores del Acha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Urdaspal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Janta FC's Dionisio Hermelando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascual Baumer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Defensores del Acha's Cipriano Urdaspal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albano Iigo. That made the score 0-4 after 83 minutes of play. In the 87th match minute, Defensores del Acha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Martino to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Baumer came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Janta FC's Dionisio Hermelando. But to his dismay, Dionisio Hermelando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Anacleto Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Defensores del Acha played a much better game than Janta FC and deserved their victory. The Janta FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
