In the 35th minute of the match, Felipe Mercurio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Albano Iigo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Felipe Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kitty Club booed when Janta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Hermelando made a kick off. Nestor Silvanito's late challenge caught a Kitty Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Silvanito helped the player get up and apologised. Albano Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Mercurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kitty Club's goalkeeper Victoriano Montrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dionisio Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Mercurio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Janta FC's Dionisio Hermelando slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Montrell. That made the score 0-2 after 72 minutes of play. Victoriano Montrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Hermelando in the 81st minute of play. Janta FC's Benigno Urtun got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benigno Urtun got free with Victoriano Montrell in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Janta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! The Kitty Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Janta FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Janta FC.
