Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5050, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 6) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Jerico started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Dionisio Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Huevonaso S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Urtun came free, but Rene Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Jerico in the 15th minute of play forced Janta FC's goalkeeper Albano Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Janta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Urdin to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Igor Jerico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huevonaso S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rene Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Urtun in the 20th minute of play. Benigno Urtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Frichoso having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Janta FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gualterio Muno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 31st play minute Gualterio Muno came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Albano Iigo. 2-0. Huevonaso S.C. were furious when Rogelio Banegas was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Huevonaso S.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Janta FC:s goal. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Janta FC. Maximiliano Hulberto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rene Frichoso. 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dionisio Hermelando was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Atarrabi in the 52nd minute of play forced Janta FC's goalkeeper Albano Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Huevonaso S.C. got a corner. Janta FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Vistruario ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Huevonaso S.C.'s Emilio Vistruario to fire away a dangerous shot which Albano Iigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Benigno Urtun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rene Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gualterio Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Rene Frichoso managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Janta FC's Benigno Urtun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dionisio Hermelando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rene Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualterio Muno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Iigo having to interfere. Huevonaso S.C.'s Gualterio Muno got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Benigno Urtun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dionisio Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huevonaso S.C.'s Rene Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Hermelando in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Janta FC defense, Gualterio Muno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Iigo. The Janta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Iigo should have stopped the shot.
