Spectators: 6514 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelo Semeno started the match with the kick off. Isidoro Chale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Etxepare, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Isidoro Chale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Etxepare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Etxepare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Godofredo Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Marcelo Semeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Osvaldo Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Malligasta booed when Carranza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Malligasta's Eulalio Libertad broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Isidoro Chale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Etxepare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32ndth minute of the game Fausto Etxepare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carranza's Isidoro Chale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvaldo Ruy stood somewhat misplaced when Marcelo Semeno came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. If Edgardo Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Carranza's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Orlin came free, but Isidoro Chale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Orlin in the 45th minute of play forced Carranza's goalkeeper Isidoro Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fausto Etxepare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Orlin to strike the kick off in the second half. Fausto Etxepare in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isidoro Chale, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcelo Semeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Ruy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Fausto Etxepare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Chale having to interfere. With a little luck, Carranza's Isidoro Chale got control of the ball when Fausto Etxepare tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Marcelo Semeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Orlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Chale having to interfere. Malligasta's Osvaldo Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Semeno in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Fausto Etxepare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidoro Chale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Orlin's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 87th minute Marcelo Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Orlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Isidoro Chale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 92 in the game by Fausto Etxepare from a close distance when the talented Isidoro Chale managed to make a qualified save. Carranza's players were relieved. If Fausto Etxepare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Carranza's goalkeeper Isidoro Chale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Etxepare. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carranza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malligasta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
