Spectators: 7101 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 143) When Anastasio Ritchie came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Piquete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Ritchie couldn't finish the play. Abel Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Epifanio Bernebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pozuelos's Jorge Baladi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Ritchie in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Anastasio Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Baladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Prospero Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Lucian kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Roque Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Abel Gaufred tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Ritchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jorge Baladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anastasio Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pozuelos's zone, Anastasio Ritchie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Baladi came out of the goal and Anastasio Ritchie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roque Delfino to strike the kick off in the second half. Abel Gaufred made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Prospero Gonzo sent off a good shot on target. Piquete's Abel Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Vasco in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Epifanio Bernebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piquete's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Bernebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Baladi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Eutropio during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Roque Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Piquete got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Timo. The long shot by Silvestre Olayo in the 66th minute really tested Abel Gaufred's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After recieving a nice pass, Piquete's Marcelo Dolfo tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Abel Gaufred successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pozuelos were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Piquete's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvestre Olayo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Silvestre Olayo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abel Gaufred quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anastasio Ritchie struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jorge Baladi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piquete. Roque Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Abel Gaufred tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
