Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vicente Senio got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Vicente Senio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cangrejillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Ceco the free kick. Hugo Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cangrejillos's Rigoberto Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Abadie in the 18th minute of play. Manuel Naldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Senio in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Vicente Senio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cangrejillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Senio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Naldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute Hugo Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Gonchan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Gonchan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Aldo Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Naldo having to interfere. Vicente Senio might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Naldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Senio ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Ortle in the 43rd minute of play forced Cangrejillos's goalkeeper Rigoberto Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Senio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Vicente Senio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cangrejillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Senio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Hernan Cidro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cangrejillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Ceco the free kick. In the 48th minute, one of Cangrejillos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cangrejillos.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Ortle made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Cangrejillos's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Ortle came free, but Rigoberto Gonchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cangrejillos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Hugo Ortle scored to the left of an out of position Rigoberto Gonchan, making the score, 0-1. Justino Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rigoberto Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Gonchan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Abadie in the 66th minute. Hugo Ortle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Ceco's Hugo Ortle got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rigoberto Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Ortle in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Deportivo Ceco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Abadie to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 81 minutes, Justino Abadie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Ceco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Abadie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 83 minutes, Vicente Senio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manuel Naldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manuel Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Abajas in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Abadie got free with Rigoberto Gonchan in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Vicente Senio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Deportivo Ceco players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cangrejillos from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
