Spectators: 6963 (Terracing: 5463, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blas Sandaili started the match with the kick off. Godofredo Montes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Gilabert in the 3rd minute. After 7 minutes of play, Lastenia's Faustino Gilabert made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Montes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustino Gilabert took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godofredo Montes. Godofredo Montes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita's Blas Sandaili got a free kick in the 17th minute. Faustino Gilabert struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Godofredo Montes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lastenia. Godofredo Montes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 23 played minutes Cienaguita got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Santio. A hard shot by Erubiel Louis from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Godofredo Montes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Faustino Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lastenia's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Gilabert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Montes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaston Nayely scored 4-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godofredo Montes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaston Nayely might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godofredo Montes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Nayely ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, Lastenia's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Sandaili came free, but Adan Haritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Faustino Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Santio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Gilabert to make the kick off. A collision led to Cienaguita getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Moises Bizen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Nayely in the 53rd minute of play forced Cienaguita's goalkeeper Godofredo Montes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lastenia fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Lastenia's Faustino Gilabert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 59thth minute of the game Faustino Gilabert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cienaguita's Godofredo Montes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Faustino Gilabert got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Godofredo Montes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Cienaguita's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Gilabert came free, but Godofredo Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Montes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Gilabert in the 73rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Gaston Nayely put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Godofredo Montes. Gaston Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Godofredo Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lastenia's goalkeeper Adan Haritz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Gilabert in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Montes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Felipe Santio fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cienaguita's protests and gave Felipe Santio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cienaguita getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Felipe Santio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita's Moises Bizen got a free kick in the 84th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Faustino Gilabert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godofredo Montes. Cienaguita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Gilabert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. 95 minutes into the match, Cienaguita's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Nayely came free, but Godofredo Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lastenia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
