Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Escriña's German Cordara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Federico Erlantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Orlanda in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Abelardo Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If German Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Abelardo Leocadio came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Medanitos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Leocadio couldn't finish the play. Medanitos FC's Ezequiel Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Cordara in the 23rd minute of play. After 28 minutes Medanitos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aureliano Cedro who took care of the corner kick. Mateo Izotz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 31st minute, German Cordara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Abelardo Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Aaron Abaurre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ezequiel Carlomagno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abelardo Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Erlantz having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Leocadio during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st minute, Abelardo Leocadio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If German Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Aaron Abaurre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Carlomagno was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Cordara in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Carlomagno saved Medanitos FC from getting behind. If German Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th match minute, Medanitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. German Cordara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ezequiel Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Abaurre in the 69th minute of play. Federico Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Leocadio in the 71st minute of play. When Osvaldo Caitano fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medanitos FC's protests and gave Osvaldo Caitano a yellow card for diving instead. Osvaldo Caitano kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute German Cordara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Cordara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Abaurre in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Carlomagno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If German Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Medanitos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Escriña.
