The Guampacha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Kauldi should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Guampacha's Juan Kauldi got control of the ball when Gregorio Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Kauldi having to interfere. Evelio Millrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Instituto de Cordoba's Almir Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Quintyn in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Instituto de Cordoba got a freekick which was hit by German Jaunzuria. 30 minutes into the match, Guampacha's Serafino Hegoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Pernambucano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 32 minutes of play, Guampacha's Serafino Hegoi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almir Pernambucano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feliciano Quintyn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Almir Pernambucano having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Guampacha's Feliciano Quintyn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Pernambucano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Millrick couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafino Hegoi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Guampacha got a freekick which was hit by Joel Jakobe. 54 minutes into the match, Instituto de Cordoba's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Hegoi came free, but Almir Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guampacha's Serafino Hegoi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 54th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Gregorio Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Kauldi having to make a save. In the 71st minute, Evelio Millrick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Kauldi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 77th minute, Gregorio Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Kauldi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Gregorio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Kauldi having to interfere. Gregorio Machado struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Juan Kauldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Instituto de Cordoba. Evelio Millrick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregorio Machado scored 4-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Kauldi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Instituto de Cordoba had played much better football throughout.
