The supporters of Helvecia booed when Burzaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Quico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Manuel Tuste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helvecia's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Tuste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Bernad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Virgilio Bernad managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Helvecia's Ildefonso Txanton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 17 minutes into the match, Burzaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Tuste came free, but Virgilio Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Tuste struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Virgilio Bernad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helvecia. In the 20th minute, Manuel Tuste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ildefonso Txanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Virgilio Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Txanton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgilio Bernad. Burzaco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Txanton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Edgardo Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Tuste to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Helvecia's goalkeeper Epifanio Txindoki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 57 played minutes Helvecia got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Playo. Ildefonso Txanton scored 3-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgilio Bernad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Burzaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Txanton came free, but Virgilio Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Frances recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Burzaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Tuste came free, but Virgilio Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Txanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Virgilio Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Frances could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Epifanio Txindoki made a huge save. Helvecia's Epifanio Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Cilio in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Uriel Macario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Helvecia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burzaco FC the free kick. In the 90th minute, Uriel Macario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Helvecia had played much better football throughout.
