In the 12th minute Gregorio Gabrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmitas's Tiburcio Hunfredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Matia in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Cordeal in the 28th minute of play forced Galacticos F.C's goalkeeper Celso Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Galacticos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Ireno. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filiberto Hartz during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Hartz. Tiburcio Hunfredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Ireno, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Adolfo Cordeal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Adolfo Cordeal made the kick off in the second half. If Gustavo Ireno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Matia got free with Tiburcio Hunfredo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cleto Euloxu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 67th minute Filiberto Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Hunfredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lisandro Firman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 70 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Galacticos F.C's zone, Adolfo Cordeal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Ekhi came out of the goal and Adolfo Cordeal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Filiberto Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmitas's Adolfo Cordeal got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Galacticos F.C's Tiburcio Hunfredo threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gustavo Ireno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Ricardo Madaleno fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galacticos F.C's protests and gave Ricardo Madaleno a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Galacticos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Madaleno. 87 minutes into the game, Damaso Moise was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galacticos F.C the free kick. When Palmitas's Adolfo Cordeal in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galacticos F.C's goalie prevented a goal. If Filiberto Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Galacticos F.C getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ricardo Madaleno hit a great ball.
