Aldo Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the game, Hersilia AFC's Carmelo Maria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Iturri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Abajas in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Soin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Fidele got free with Honorato Soin in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Lando hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Soin having to interfere. A hard shot 18 in the game by Victoriano Fidele from a close distance when the talented Honorato Soin managed to make a qualified save. Hersilia AFC's players were relieved. RojodeCopas's Victoriano Fidele was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 21 minutes, Felipe Pacorro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RojodeCopas and the Hersilia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to RojodeCopas getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Felipe Pacorro hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match, Victoriano Fidele got a very nice opportunity to score, but Honorato Soin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 25 minutes into the match, Hersilia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Abajas came free, but Honorato Soin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Eustaquio Abajas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eustaquio Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 59th minute of the match Isaias Ixona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Iturri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Angel Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Aldo Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Abajas in the 73rd minute of play forced Hersilia AFC's goalkeeper Honorato Soin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Soin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Abajas in the 76th minute of play. Victoriano Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Soin having to interfere. The supporters of RojodeCopas booed when Hersilia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Montrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Angel Peio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Iturri having to interfere. With a little luck, RojodeCopas's Aldo Iturri got control of the ball when Angel Peio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, RojodeCopas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Ganix to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Hersilia AFC's Amadeo Panfilo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 94 played minutes RojodeCopas got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Silban. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RojodeCopas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hersilia AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
