The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of RojodeCopas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palmitas:s goal. After having played for 8 minutes, Adolfo Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Cordeal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Filiberto Hartz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aldo Iturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Cordeal in the 13th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Palmitas's Adolfo Cordeal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aldo Iturri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Palmitas's Filiberto Hartz got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palmitas's Adolfo Cordeal was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Aldo Iturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Cordeal in the 37th minute of the match. Diego Ganix charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Ganix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, RojodeCopas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Ganix to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of RojodeCopas booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Hunfredo came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by RojodeCopas's Diego Ganix. But to his dismay, Diego Ganix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Hartz made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Candido Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot. RojodeCopas's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Sanduru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Hunfredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldo Iturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Hartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Aldo Iturri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Cordeal went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Tiburcio Hunfredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Abajas in the 64th minute of the match. Damaso Moise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Hartz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Iturri having to make a save. Palmitas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Eustaquio Abajas scored to the left of an out of position Tiburcio Hunfredo, making the score, 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Filiberto Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciro Silban's late challenge caught a Palmitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Silban helped the player get up and apologised. Filiberto Hartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aldo Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Filiberto Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Pitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Gregorio Gabrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Filiberto Hartz made a precise shot to the right of Aldo Iturri. RojodeCopas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. If Damaso Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Candido Sanduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Palmitas had played much better football throughout.
