Godfredo Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Ellande having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Burmeister FC's zone, Serafino Orlandus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Rencio came out of the goal and Serafino Orlandus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Porvenir's Zacarias Cortez got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Mariano Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porvenir's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Baudelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Rencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36thth minute of the game Serafino Orlandus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burmeister FC's Adolfo Rencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Porvenir's Serafino Orlandus got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Baudelio to make the kick off. Raul Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Araoz in the 55th minute of play. Serafino Orlandus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Rencio having to make a save. Raul Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Atauri in the 63rd minute of the match. Porvenir's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
