Celestino Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Jakue made a kick off. The supporters of CLUB DEPORTIVO ESPECTRO booed when Burmeister FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Quintyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Eutor charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Eutor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 57 minutes into the game, Godfredo Araoz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arnaldo Monico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the match, CLUB DEPORTIVO ESPECTRO's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Araoz came free, but Arnaldo Monico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Burmeister FC's zone, Humberto Jakue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Rencio came out of the goal and Humberto Jakue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute Celestino Atauri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Monico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Burmeister FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Jakue came free, but Adolfo Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Celestino Atauri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Monico. CLUB DEPORTIVO ESPECTRO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Atauri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Celestino Atauri scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Monico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angel Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Burmeister FC had won after a very even match.
