Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geronimo Santos kicked off to start the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Edgard Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polvaredas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Soin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Jaume blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgilio Eli having to make a save. In the 15th minute, Geronimo Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Chorache's late challenge caught a Chischaquita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Chorache helped the player get up and apologised. Zeledon Chorache hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Gurutz struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Valentin Beturian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chischaquita FC. When Aristides Baldovino fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polvaredas's protests and gave Aristides Baldovino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Polvaredas's Aristides Baldovino got a free kick in the 35th minute. Edgard Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 44th minute of the match Aristides Baldovino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aristides Baldovino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Aristides Baldovino hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Fernando Jaume struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Virgilio Eli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polvaredas. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Jaume was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Polvaredas's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Santos came free, but Valentin Beturian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Casimiro Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Fernando Jaume managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polvaredas's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Jaume was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Eli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urbano Donostia took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Eli. Virgilio Eli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 66 minutes of play, Polvaredas's Fernando Jaume made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Eli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Virgilio Eli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Soin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 72 minutes, Edgard Soin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polvaredas and the Chischaquita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Polvaredas got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Soin. Luisito Maria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Fernando Jaume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Eli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Casimiro Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Fernando Jaume got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urbano Donostia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Polvaredas's Urbano Donostia got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgilio Eli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Jaume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Urbano Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Eli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
